Philip Morris’s Bad Quarter: Not So Bad After All?

Philip Morris (PM) is lower Friday, as investor digest its lackluster first quarter.

The cigarette maker said it earned 98 cents a share, below the $1.03 that analysts were expecting. Revenue slid 0.3% year over year to $6.06 billion, also below the consensus $6.47 billion estimate.
